Marlex was established in 1974 by husband and wife team Mary and Alex. The business is much the same today, with Simon and Alison at the helm. We have made a conscious decision to remain small so as to continue providing a personal service.

Simon Fern

Simon has been advising clients since 1986 and is a member of the Personal Finance Society by diploma.

He has also passed the relevant qualifications to enable him to advise in mortgages and certain specialist areas in pensions.

Whether dealing with his individual, family or corporate clients, Simon prides himself on giving clear, professional and unbiased advice and always treats clients in a way that he would wish to be treated himself.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

For mortgage advice we can be paid by commission, or a fee of usually £750.00.
